Dear teachers,

Would you know of a reliable site where I can HEAR British pronunciation (RP) by typing the words I need?

How do you pronounce the name of Shakespeare's wife "Anne HATHAWAY" and his best friend's "John DAVENANT", please?

I hope that it will be possible to use phonetic symbols on this page.

Just log on learnenglish.com/, look for Audrey the robot, then type any word and she will pronounce it for you with her beautiful English accent.
You can even ask the software to pronounce words with any accent you like, both male and female voices.

Je suis allée sur learnenglish.com mais je suis tombée sur une pub pour une école à NY (ALCC). Est-ce le bon site? Ce que je cherche c'est une prononciation à la british (genre BBC English) plutôt. En fait j'ai plusieurs adresses de ce genre mais le problème c'est qu'elles ne donnent pas toute la même prononciation (même à la façon british), c'est pourquoi je souhaiterais savoir si quelqu'un aurait un site plutôt "reliable" :/
