First of all, I often help the old people of my neighbourhood on weekend. They are some elderly who refuse to go in a retirement home. Most of the time, they live alone and my presence, I am sure, provide them an important and a vital psychological support. Moreover, I really help them to have a better life by(or from ?) doing some homework as ironing, mopping the floor, caccuming, clearing and laying the table, preparing meals, going out the dustbin, sweeping or hanging out their washing… I feel I have skills and qualities to do the job well. It made me realize every day that I get a lot of satisfaction and enjoyment from working with elder people. I think I am a carring person and have both social and pratical skills to help older people stay in their own home.
Furthermore, to my point of view, social care jobs are fulfilling jobs. To my mind, they give people the feeling to be extremely usefull. In addition, there is a wide of roles available under the simple tittle of « social care jobs », and we must not forget that social care is a topical issue which is often raised by medias. A member of my family is disabled, so I feel particulary concerned by this topic.
Thanks to all these handicaped people I could have met, I have got the sensation (or feeling ?) to grow up each day of life. I believe I became a good listener, I am now able to understand better the expectations of people who are affected with physical or psychological disabilities, or also with a mental health problem. They remind me that life is not always a bed of roses, they open my eyes each day that life makes (….

First of all/Firstly, I often help/I give support to the older people of my neighbourhood (who live in the neighbourhood) on the weekend ou on weekends (à noter que cette expression est américaine. Les Anglais préfèreront la préposition "at").

They are some elderly people who refuse to go into/into a retirement home. Most of the time, they live alone and my presence, I am sure, provide them an important and a vital(redondance ?) psychological support. Moreover, I really help them to have a better life by(or from ?) doing somehomeworkhousework as ironing, mopping the floor, caccumingvacuum-cleaning, clearing and laying the table, preparing meals, going out the dustbin(putting the dustbin out, sweeping or hanging out their washing/(the) clothes

I feel I have skills and qualities to do the job well.

It made me realize every day that I get a lot of satisfaction and enjoyment (il y a la notion d'amusement ici) from (sans préposition ça sonne mieux) working with elder people. I think I am a carring (thoughtful ?) person and have both social and practical skills to help older people to stay in their own home.
Furthermore, tofrom my point of view, social care jobs are fulfilling jobs. To my mind, they give people the feeling to be extremely usefull (useful). In addition, there is a wide of roles available under the simple tittle of « social care jobs », and we must not forget that social care is a topical issue which is often raised by medias. A member of my family is disabled, so I feel particulary concerned bywiththis topic.

Thanks to all these handicapped people I could have met/met, I have got the sensation (or feeling ?)I feel as if I was growing upeach day of life.every day.

I believe I became a good listener, I am now able to understand better the expectations of people who are affected with physical or psychological disabilities, or also with a mental health problem. la phrase ainsi que l'argumentation est mal construite… essaye de reformuler cela plus précisément peut-être ?

They remind me that life is not always a bed of roses, they open my eyes each day that life makes (….
