Le rythme en poésie

Voilà, j'ai un problème, je ne crois pas avoir trop saisi la notion de rythme en poésie, j'ai bien regardé les fiches du site mais, malgré cela je n'ai pas réussi à m'approprier ce concept.

En fait, je ne sais pas quand ce fait l'hémistiche pour un vers long, ni comment sont choisis les accentuations.

Quelqu'un peut-il m'aider ?
